Doug Van Wickler joined The Woodlands Club staff in 1995 as an Assistant Golf Professional. He was promoted to his current position as the Director of Golf in 1999.

His philosophy is that golf is a game and should be fun! He teaches people, not methods. Doug believes technology speeds the learning process. In addition to use of launch monitors and digital video analysis, he continues to be on the forefront of the technology curve by using the latest wireless body-motion systems from K-Vest.

Doug and his children Emma and William live in Falmouth.
