Programs and Classes


Water Aerobics
Our Aqua Aerobics class maximizes the water’s resistance for both cardio endurance and strength toning exercise. These vertical workouts offer low impact and resistance conditioning for individuals who want to be challenged in an aquatic setting. Deep water exercise is part of each workout.

Swimming Lessons
The Woodlands Club is a progressive swimming program that builds skilled, confident swimmers of all ages. Swimmers are taught relaxation and comfort in the water. Next a strong breathing foundation is laid before body alignment is taught. Strokes are built from the aligned body positions with a strong emphasis on technique.

Our staff received training at the Olympic Training Center and they are proud to offer this progressive method.

Private Swim Lessons (all ages)
We offer lessons for all levels of swimmer from new swimmers to highly skilled swimmers as well as swimmers with special needs or members with tight schedules. Private lessons are available to all members based upon staff and pool availability.

Pee Wee Swim & Tennis
School Year: Children are introduced to the joys of two lifetime sports. This 30 week swimming and tennis program runs September-May for children ages 4-6. Youngsters attend 1 day per week and receive 30 minutes of swim instruction and 30 minutes of tennis instruction with highly qualified professional teachers.

Recreational Swim Team
The Woodlands swimmers and parents have elected a more recreational, less competitive approach to swim team over the past few years. Swimmers who have passed Woodlands Level 4 swimming or are age 10 and above may be part of the swim team.

Swimmers swim workouts, improve competitive skills and stroke technique in preparation for middle school and high school swim team or a more competitive swim team.

SCUBA
The Woodlands Club offers a SCUBA Certification program that can accommodate busy schedules. The program is available upon request. Adults and children age 12 and up with basic swimming ability (10 minute water treading and 200 yard swim) and good health may enroll in this program.
