 Designed by renowned architects Jim and George Fazio and opened in 1988, the course has earned a reputation as one of the premier private golf experiences in the region. Over the years, The Woodlands has proudly hosted numerous state and regional championships for both men and women, along with professional events including three Ben Hogan Tour tournaments and one Nike Tour event — now known as the Korn Ferry Tour. Most recently, we were honored to host the prestigious New England Amateur in 2023, further solidifying our place among New England’s top golf destinations.

Designed to challenge and inspire golfers of all skill levels, the course features nine sets of tees ranging from 4,489 to 6,856 yards, offering an exceptional experience whether you're playing a casual round or competing at a high level. Bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens deliver consistently outstanding playing conditions, while our recently installed, state-of-the-art irrigation system ensures the course remains among the finest in the state throughout the season.

The Woodlands Club offers Maine’s finest private club practice facilities:

  • 50,000 sq. ft. rye/bent grass range with over 300 yards of hitting space
  • Short game area with full-size putting and chipping greens, bunkers, fairway, and rough
  • Third bunker green conveniently near the first tee
  • Maintained to championship course standards for consistent practice conditions

Stay sharp all season in our Indoor Golf Studio.

Featuring two fully equipped TrackMan simulators, members can play, practice, and join leagues or weekly games. Experience world-class golf indoors and keep your game at its best throughout the winter.
